Over the course of the past two years, the Cleveland Cord Blood Center (CCBC) has realized meaningful growth in virtually every aspect of our organization. This growth did not happen overnight. Rather, it is the result of our long-term strategy of applying our resources and strengths in support of lifesaving and life-enhancing cord blood research and transplantation.
Our growth is reflective of our long-standing commitment to:
- The cultivation of an increasingly diverse, high-quality cord blood collection program
- Adhering to best-in-class standards in the maintenance of our high-quality cord blood unit inventory
- Leveraging our team’s knowledge and experience in service to the cord blood and cellular therapy industries
- Collaboration with industry leading partners and professionals to make the most of our treasured resources
In our newsletter and on our website, clevelandcordblood.org, we invite you to stay up-to-date on how we’re using the precious gift of cord blood to create opportunities that include:
- CCBC’s own research in wound healing, Parkinson’s disease, Type 1 Diabetes and diabetic retinopathy
- How our cord blood units are being used by innovative partners and collaborators investigating treatments for diseases including leukemia and lymphoma, HIV/AIDS, COVID-19 and more
- The work of our Cleveland Cell Therapy Incubator to leverage our knowledge and experience in the delivery of products and services to researchers and developers around the globe
We are so very grateful to our donating parents, team members and all those who help make it possible to put the precious gift of cord blood to work in saving lives, one cord at a time.
